Women in Green's October 2024 edit-a-thon

Hello WikiProject Armenia:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

Proposed deletion of Djidjrakatsi

The article Djidjrakatsi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced and unimproved for over 15 years. No reliable sources on Google. No Armenian or other language article from which to translate.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Indeed, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that a noble house by this name (Ճիճրակացի) existed. There was a single 5th-century noble, mentioned only in the history of Movses Khorenatsi (Book 3, Chapter 56), named Nerses Chichrakatsi. But old Armenian noble family names were not formed like this. The names ending in -atsi indicated a person's place of origin or a place they were otherwise associated with. Basentsi Azoyan

Hi WP:Armenia!

I came across this article in cleaning up articles without sources. Based on a quick search, it appears as though he was notable. However I am not knowledgeable enough on the subject matter to improve this article.

Would anyone here want to add a few sources and do at least some minor cleaning?
