Interview - Jungle Beats
Interviewer: Welcome to a special edition interview with Matthew Kangaroo, the real-life Tarzan of the Jungle. Thank you for hosting us.
Matthew: It's my pleasure. Thank you for making the journey to conduct this interview.
Interviewer: Tell our readers how your growing up in the jungle and growing up among silverbacks was?
Matthew: I was love by my adoptive parents and respected by the other primates as one of them despite being different in many ways.
Interviewer: How did your upbringing among silverbacks shape your physique and attitude towards life in the jungle?
Matthew: The gorilla way of life has made physically strong and extremely agile. I much prefer life in the jungle over the busy city life. Although I like Urban park-forests.
Interviewer: As a jungle lord, what are some of the challenges you face in protecting the jungle?
Matthew: Well, I constantly have to defend my tribe from outside threats like poachers and predators. Sometimes I have to deal with loggers too, but rarely.
Interviewer: Can you elaborate on your preferences for heavily muscled men and women? How does this influence your interactions and relationships?
Matthew: I just have sort of a muscle fetish. I don't plan to commit myself to a long-term relationship, I just like to flirt and hang out with muscular people, preferably women.
Interviewer: Tell us from where you get knowledge about Tarzan, since you grew up in a jungle far away from civilization?
Matthew: Well, I made some friends from outside the jungle. They told me I look and behave just like Tarzan, and after I heard more about him, I took a liking to him and he became my personal hero.
Interviewer: Continue from the previous question. How has Tarzan changed how you integrated this character into your lifestyle?
Matthew: Well, as I said, I was like him even before I heard about him without realizing it, so he hasn't had a big influence on my lifestyle.
Interviewer: Could you describe your workout routine and how it contributes to your impressive physique?
Matthew: Before I would just climb trees and swing on vines like the other gorillas. When I learned about working out, I began making my own equipment, lifting heavy stones and logs and such. That, along with a healthy diet has shaped my physique.
Interviewer: How do you use your athleticism and strength such as climbing trees and swinging on vines in your daily life?
Matthew: I climb and jump from tree to tree almost every day. When I'm on the ground, I mostly jump too. Makes moving around much faster.
Interviewer: Despite your formidable appearance, do you have any weaknesses, especially when facing external dangers?
Matthew: If you mean physical weaknesses, I may be really fast and agile, but my muscle mass does slow me down a little.
Interviewer: What values and principles guide you in interactions with other inhabitants of the jungle and visitors?
Matthew: Both ferals and anthros as my own family as long as they don't threaten or hurt one another, but as the protector of this jungle and its species I have no problem fighting them if need be. As for the visitors, whenever I see someone new in my jungle, I follow them hidden from a safe distance to make sure they mean no harm, and if they prove themselves to be non-hostile, I give them a warm welcome.
Interviewer: Are there any other qualities besides physical strength that contribute to your role as a respected figure in the jungle?
Matthew: I have many qualities that make the jungle residents like and respect me, mostly my muscular built and athletic skill, but also my quick wit, charm and politeness.
Interviewer: What are some of the techniques you use for self-defense, particularly utilizing your thick and strong tail?
Matthew: Well, I don't have any formal combat training, but I am very fast, strong and clever. It allows me to outwit and fight off any unwelcome intruder and big predator. I don't usually use my tail in combat, but if it benefits me, I will use it to smack my opponent in the face or swipe them off their feet.
Interviewer: You said that you have a sense of humor and playful nature**.** Could you give us an example of it?
Matthew: *grins* Sure thing. *Jumps up and quickly climbs up a tree. Suddenly, he swings by on a vine and swoops up with him. In midair, he throws you into the sky, then swings back on another vine, catches you and lands with you on a nearby branch* How is that for fun?
Interviewer: How do you manage your love for the jungle with your curiosity about the outside world?
Matthew: Well, I've been outside the jungle many times before. I've been to cities, villages, beaches, deserts and even the mountains, but nothing compares to my beloved rainforest, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Interviewer: How did you find your love? Joanna?
Matthew: I met her one day while walking through the jungle. She was bathing in a river and I saw her fight off an anaconda and an alligator with nothing but her bare hands. I was truly amazed and we became a couple. Unfortunately, our relationship was brief because I couldn't bind myself to one woman. I prefer to have the freedom for sexual and romantic encounters with more than one, so we broke up. We're still good friends, though.
Interviewer: Tell us about the personal growth that you experienced during your journey to attain the body that you now possess?
Matthew: I was raised as a gorilla since birth, so I did everything they did to stay in shape, like jumping from tree to tree and climbing mountains. I later learned about workout and bodybuilding from some friendly visitors, so I decided to make my own equipment and train like outsiders do. I began doing pushups, lifting heavy stones, bench-press treetrunks and swim for long distances in rivers. This is what made what I am today, along with a healthy diet of fruit and meat.
Interviewer: In what ways do you express your love for Joanna beyond your physical relationship?
Matthew: Like I said, Joanna and I are no longer a couple, but when we were dating, I would often take her hiking, swimming or hunting with me. I even made her a bed and hammock in my cottage. Besides that, I would always help her with whatever she needed and run errands for her.
Interviewer: You mentioned that the fastest way through the jungle is by using vines. Can you tell us how you ensure safety while swinging on vines?
Matthew: Yes, I have a couple of tips for first time swingers I'd like to share: First off, move quickly to be able to reach farther, but be careful when jumping to another vine or you might miss it and fall; wait for a few hours before you go swinging after rain. The vines are very slippery when they're wet; and finally, be sure to get a firm grip of the vine or the branch. The important thing is not ot lose your balance, cuz it's a long way down.
Interviewer: Do you have any future goals for yourself?
Matthew: I don't know, I already have everything I need. I just want to keep the jungle a safe and pleasurable environment. However, I would like to visit some other places in the near future, maybe even give it a shot at pro bodybuilding and modeling.
Interviewer: How does your towering height of 6'5" contribute to your presence and authority as jungle lord, especially when interacting with other inhabitants?
Matthew: I don't like to use my height for intimidation or as a weapon, but most animals and villagers are still scared by my presence. Some try to avoid me while others try to be polite. But if need be, I am willing to use my stature to scare off or intimidate a threat.
Interviewer: Can you elaborate on specific muscle groups you focus on during your workouts to maintain your impressive physique?
Matthew: All of my muscles are equally important to me, but I mostly focus on my upper body because running and jumping all day naturally makes my legs very strong. I train my biceps, triceps and of course my chest. *flexes his pecs proudly*
Interviewer: Did your muscular stature enhance your abilities in activities such as wrestling and chest pounding?
Matthew: Why of course. The stronger you are the easier it is to subdue your opponent, although flexibility, athletizism and quick thinking help a lot, too. I used to beat my chest even before I had these muscles, like all the other gorillas, but when you have rippling pecs they produce a louder, more pronounced sound, similar to a big drum.
Interviewer: Did you ever encounter any unique challenges or advantages that come with the combination of height and muscle mass when navigating the dense jungle terrain?
Matthew: As I said, my size and muscles do slow me down a little, but I make up for that in strenght. Also, I regularly work out my legs and lower body to be able to keep up with the rest. Plus, my size doesn't cause me any problems with camoflage.
